Abstract Submission

The abstract submission period for the 22nd International Conference on Diseases of Fish and Shellfish 2025 is officially over. You can no longer submit any abstract.

Useful information

  • Oral presentation:

    15-minute time-slots are foreseen for contributed talks, that include 12 minutes presentation and 3 mins for Q&A. Additional guidelines for presenters will be available on a later time.

  • Poster presentation:

    Posters should be in portrait and not exceed A0 size (1189mm high x 841mm width). Additional guidelines for presenters will be available on a later time.

  • Deadline:

    FINAL Abstract submission deadline: May 16th, 2025

General Guidelines

  • Pre-registration is needed before submitting your abstract. Please complete the registration form and create your user account. You are not requested to proceed with payment at this step.
  • Abstracts must be submitted exclusively via the on-line system of the Conference web page.
  • Participants wishing to contribute to any of the workshops please contact the relevant contact person listed in the description of the WS. Only upon agreement with the organisers can abstracts for WSs be submitted via the portal.
  • Abstracts must be written in English with a maximum of 400 words. Your submission must clearly include Introduction, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
  • Abstracts will be submitted with an HTML input. Please COPY-PASTE FROM WORD TO NOTEPAD and then COPY FROM NOTEPAD TO THE SPECIAL TEXT BOX OF THE SUBMISSION. In the text box YOU CAN MAKE BOLD OR ITALICS THE WORDS/SENTENCES YOU WISH.
  • During submission you will be requested to:
    • Indicate your preference in presentation type (oral or poster)
    • Select the topic you would like to submit your abstract among the EAFP2025 Topics
    • Insert the title of your submission
    • Insert the main text of your submission
    • Insert all authors and identify the presenter
